I love pasta salad. When I go to a cookout and they have those rectangular styrofoam plates with the different sections, you better believe that at least two of those sections will have pasta salad filling them. And I'll go back for seconds.
I'm into sharing the love, so here's the recipe for stuff.
Actually, you know that part in Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack says the pirate's code is "more like guidelines"? This recipe is kind of like that. This isn't so much a recipe as it is guidelines.
So here ya go....
1 box pasta, any kind, cooked, drained, and rinsed (I used Ronzoni Garden Delight Rotini)
Half a bottle of Italian dressing (I used light)
Your combination and amount of the following, or actually whatever the heck you wanna put in it:
chunks of mozzarella cheese (any cheese would work)
roasted red pepper
I could go on. The sky's the limit.
Mix together, refrigerate, and enjoy.
And then enjoy again.
P.S. It's even better the next day. For breakfast.
