Here's an easy, little sewing project that is great for baby gifts or to make for your own offspring.
I did a plain cuddle square earlier this week and my little one fell in love with it. He loves to chew on the tags and rub the minky side on his face. Bonus! It helps him fall asleep.
So, this time I made a basic cuddle square (or taggie blanket...tomato, to-mah-to) but I added a little something extra. Crinkly goodness!
I just winged it, but you can use a tutorial like this one.
Here's what you need:
Two squares of fabric. I chose minky and flannel.
Assorted ribbons.
Pins.
Something crinkly. I used a travel wipes package.
Follow the directions on making a basic square. Cut triangles from the crinkly stuff. After you pin the ribbons in place, pin the crinkly stuff in the corners.
Sew all the way around, leaving an open spot to turn. Trim edges.
Turn right side out and topstitch all the way around.
Give it to a cute baby.
Commence chewing.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is so cute! I love how you made it a crinkle toy AND a taggie, and that giraffe print is awesome. I featured you today on my baby gift roundup as part of my Christmas in July series :)
